Mi Vida: PIcking up photography ?

Well... I loved photography since i was a little kid .. i used to have a minolta camera, back when photography wasnt that popular here in kuwait ..

now i used one of my friends SLR camera .. and i really loved it .. BUT, i dont want to be one of those haba ppl cause i hate haba ..

I need to pick up a new hobby.. so what do you guys suggest ? should i just go with Photography ? or should i persue something different ??
